These healthy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are my new favorite cookie recipe! They’re the perfect blend of flavors with a gooey tahini chocolate inside, slightly crisp outside and made with clean ingredients! They also have a boost of protein from collagen.
i haven’t been this excited to share a recipe with y’all since my dark chocolate chip sweet potato muffins!
These healthy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are literally the BEST cookies i have ever made, and y’all, i’ve made a LOT of cookies.
They’re the perfect blend of flavors with a gooey tahini chocolate inside, slightly crisp outside and made with clean ingredients! They also have a boost of protein from the added collagen.
For this recipe I used a mixture of all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour (I used this specific brand) and rolled oats as the base.
The cookies are sweetened with natural sugars like coconut sugar and pure maple syrup, too! Well, and some dark chocolate chips.. but at least it’s the “healthiest” kind of chocolate.. right?
I haven’t tested the recipe with any other flours, so I’m not sure how they would turned out if you subbed anything. If you give it a try let me know how they turn out!
I also ran out to get an ice cream scoop JUST for this recipe because I wanted to make sure they were nice and thick!
I chilled the dough for about an hour and a half, scooped them out into pretty large balls and baked for roughly 12 minutes. Baking time will vary on your oven and cookie size 🙂
I can’t wait to hear what you think about these healthy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! They’re hands down my favorite recipe I’ve ever made. Planning on making another batch very soon 🙂
Don’t forget to tag me on instagram when you make these cookies so I can share it to my stories, too! I love showing off your re-creations!
