Farm to Ladle is a healthy restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia with clean ingredients and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Located in Ponce City Market and at the Avalon — you don’t want to miss it!
it took me less than two months in atlanta to find my favorite go-to spot: Farm to Ladle. i first discovered Farm to Ladle when michael and i were exploring ponce city market (my second home) on a trip to go apartment hunting. i had their white chicken chili and was HOOKED.
since that visit i’m pretty sure i’ve tasted just about everything on the menu.there are tons and tons of reason i love Farm to Ladle, but one specific reason is that instead of posting the calories, they post the INGREDIENTS! i preach this all the time, but that’s truly what we need to be focusing on.
calorie counting is not the way to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. it leads to restricting and bingeing. a terrible cycle i’ve watched too many of my friends go through.

why i love farm to ladLe:
some other reasons i love Farm to Ladle are because the ingredients are SO. FRESH. and so clean, clean. (sorry i had to 🙈) the menu is seasonal — so you know everything is at its peak, and the staff is super friendly! i’m a very selective eater and take my food choices very seriously (probably tooooo seriously) but they always let me taste the soups before committing which i really appreciate.
i like heading to Farm to Ladle when my body is needing a little detox or i’m simply craving some whole, real foods. i’m terrible at making decisions, so it’s nice having a spot nearby that i don’t have to think twice about when i’m in a pinch. everything on their menu is so bomb!
navigating a restaurant menu can be tricky, which is why i wrote a post about how to eat healthy at ANY restaurant. but Farm to Ladle takes all the stress out because everything is a solid option.
farm to ladle has a trio menu option which is what i normally opt for. you can also replace 1/2 your sandwich with a grilled chicken breast and it’s seriously grilled to perfection and SO BIG. i like doing a soup, salad and grilled chicken. i usually add the chicken on top of my salad. it’s incredibly tasty and filling — which is rare at a lot of soup/salad joints (cough panera cough)
my favorite salad is DEFINITELY the detox slaw! it includes kale, green & purple cabbage, carrots, black sesame seeds, slaw vinaigrette & apple cider vinaigrette. i wish i could buy it by the barrel — every time i’m near ponce city market i pop in to grab a container to-go.farm to ladle is also located at the avalon in alpharetta, which is closer to my apartment… but i just love the vibe at ponce city market so i usually sacrifice the drive!
farm to ladle offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options like their crunchy mango wrap. i’m definitely not vegan — love me some meat — but i still order this wrap because the flavors are insane! plus i like to do a little meatless monday every now and again 😉
