Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala
This Healthy Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala is a delicious way to enjoy Indian cuisine in a hurry! All you need is a jar of your favorite tikka masala, yogurt, a few spices, veggies, and you’re set!
15 oz Tikka Masala Sauce 2 Lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Cut into bite-sized pieces 14.5 oz Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes Canned, Drained 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic 1/2 Tsp Smoked paprika 1 1/2 Tsp Ground Cumin 2 Bell Peppers Sliced fajita-style 1/3 Cup Yogurt I used 4% and don't recommend using non-fat. Salt to taste Pepper to taste Cilantro for garnish
Add all ingredients except for the yogurt to your slow cooker in the order they are listed above and cook on high for 3 hours, or on low for 6 hours.
Remove lid, turn off the, and stir in the yogurt OR add a dollop of yogurt to your own personal bowl if you have picky eaters in the house.
Serve on top of rice and season with salt and pepper as desired. Garnish with cilantro.
