BACKGROUND + QUALIFICATIONS
I’ve always had a passion for healthy living, wellness and sharing my nutritional knowledge. I graduated from Samford University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition in 2015, and proceeded to complete a NCAA-accredited Health Coach certification through ACE in 2018.
The ACE Health Coach certification is the only certification accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the same body that accredits certifications for pharmacists, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians and many other health professionals.
I now live in north Atlanta with my husband, working one-on-one with clients via phone and in-person.
THE HS APPROACH
Through one-on-one coaching we focus on self-love, empowerment, body-mind-spirit and take the attention away from weight and numbers.
The work I do with clients considers the whole-person and focuses on the importance of education, development of self-care skills and introspective awareness. We must understand what drives our decisions in order to change our behaviors.
I believe in a traditional diet, enjoying all foods in moderation and prioritizing ingredients over the nutrition label. I don’t believe in diet trends, food trends, calorie trackers or having a “good food”, “bad food” list. Eliminating any food or food group typically results in binging later on, heightens cravings or causes an individual to develop an unhealthy relationship with food.
I will teach you how to develop and implement a healthy lifestyle without causing it to consume your thoughts or add stress into your life. I want to walk through this journey with you as an accountability partner, friend and resource.
Helping individuals tap into their own inner motivation and create programs that work for their unique lifestyles is what health coaching is all about. If I can help clients come to their own realization about what will work for them, actually follow through and start to transform, I can’t imagine that there is any more rewarding work to be done.
Together we’ll experiment with strategies for overcoming the barriers keeping you stuck in vicious cycles around food, eating, and body image. This is hard, uncomfortable work, but ultimately the most rewarding experience you can give to yourself. You deserve better.

When you have healthy employees, your company reaps the benefits. A correctly designed wellness program can increase productivity, boost moral and reduce stress. Wellness programs help employees make smart and healthy choices that can reduce health care costs, increase vitality and diminish absenteeism. In general, the costs of implementing a wellness program are minimal compared to the benefits.
Topics, programs, events and materials are uniquely tailored to your company.
