I used these contrast crinkle books with Isaiah for the first 3 months of his life. Babys can’t see colors yet, so these soft, high-contrast books are a great toy for them!

Bjorn Bouncer

Isaiah had awful reflux the first 6 months of his life. That coupled with my oversupply made for a LOT of spit up. This bouncer was clutch for keeping him upright after he would nurse. It’s also super portable so I could bring it out on the porch with me or in whatever room I was trying to get stuff done in.

These frozen teethers were Isaiah’s favorite when he first started teething. Now we are working on his molars which is another story *big yikes*.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR 6-9 MONTH OLD BABY

Jumper

This jumper goes up there with his swing for best purchases! Isaiah LOVED his jumper for months and months. It was an awesome way to get his energy out and keep him upright… #reflux.

Nugget Couch

This nugget is my favorite toy of his at the moment! It’s designed for kids, toddlers, and babys of all ages but I don’t think you would get your money’s worth out of it until your baby is crawling or at least sitting up. We use it to make forts, slides, and jump off of. When he was crawling we would also make forts and slides or a reading nook. Definitely worth the money! 3-in-1 Booster Seat

This 3-in-1 booster might be more for the parents than the babys. Whoops! I have this one and love it! We use it when we travel and I love that you can take the tray off and it turns into a booster seat. Isaiah is 18 months old and graduating out of his high chair. We plan to use this instead. I love a gift that continues to grow with them!

Jolly Jumper or Door Jumper

We have this door jumper and Isaiah LOVED it! Beware that you do need a decently wide door fram to hang it from or they will bounce into the door frame. I learned this the hard way…

Stackable Rings

Stackable rings are a classic baby gift and for good reason! Isaiah still plays with his at 18 months but now he uses them more as “frisbees” or rolls them accross the hardwood. I love this one because it has some with rattles.

Stackable Cups

Stackable cups are another classic baby gift that is perfect for babys first christmas! These are great for all ages and Isaiah still uses his at 18 months. He stacks them, yells “ball!” into them to hear an echo, uses them to store things and also as water scoopers!

Inny Bin

This inny bin is a fabulous brain game for your baby. It also helps them work on their fine motor skills.

Activity Cube

This activity cube is labeled as an 18 month old toy but all the reviews say that its much better for a 6+ month old! One mom wrote “The only removable parts are the large animal characters so I think it will be a good gift for her! She is curious, and all of the moving pieces will definitely entertain her! The wood it’s made with is thick and sturdy and I pulled on some of the pieces to check it out and it seems very well built!”

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR 9-12 MONTH OLD BABY:

Activity Table

As soon as Isaiah was able to stand we got him this activity table to keep him busy and encourage him to stand for longer. We loved it and plan on keeping it in case a second baby comes along!

Push Walker

This push walker goes at the top of my list for 9-12 month old babys!! I would take this with us to the park and he would walk around the playground feeling like such a big boy! It definitely helped him get walking faster.

Sit & Stand Tower

This is on my Christmas wish list for Isaiah. These standing towers allow your baby to stand up at the counter with you while you cook. It’s great for getting them involved around the house and standing next to you during any activity! Crafts, snack time, cooking, etc.

Water Table

Isaiah got this water table for his birthday in March. It has been a game changer when its sunny and hot out! I plan on filling it with sand when the weather cools off.

Silicone Blocks

These silicone blocks are great starter blocks before you get to megablocks or legos. I love that they are soft so he doesn’t get hurt and he can chew on them!

Pull Back Cars

These pull back cars are a soft material so you don’t have to worry about your baby getting knocked in the head with a chunky, plastic car. They are perfect for travel as well so we take them with us to the beach!

Bubble Mower

A bubble mower is a classic childhood toy that every baby loves! It encourages walking as well so its a win-win.

Busy Board

I am in the process of making Isaiah a busy board from scratch! (Wish me luck) But they sell plenty of versions online that encourage all kinds of fine motor skills. Such a great christmas gift!

Sleep Sack or Swaddle

This is by far my favorite brand for swaddles and sleep sacks. They are the only ones we used for Isaiah! He still uses this sleep sack year-round. I just change up his pajamas based on the season since it is long sleeves. 🙂
