Since labor day is the unofficial end of summer (praise hands) I’m jumping STRAIGHT into my favorite fall flavors. pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot cake, cinnamon spice goodies.. you get the drift. although I’m a sucker for all things pumpkin, I wanted to embrace the deliciousness of Bartlett pears this year.

could you tell from my pear, pomegranate & pumpkin seed salad last week? very much team bartlett pears right now.

Appetizers scream party food to me and growing up my family never ordered appetizers. I really only experienced them at holiday parties, tailgates or big events. I got embarrassingly excited when appetizers were available — I mean, who doesn’t love finger foods!? or bite-sized foods for that matter!? with this being the case, I had to make sure my fall party appetizer was ON POINT.

Thanks to these delicious fall bartlett pears (& of course my fav goat cheese) I think I achieved the best healthy appetizer out there. 😉Bartlett pear, goat cheese and honey pecan crostini
