If you don’t know anything else about you, you can immediately realize that I am a lover of all things chocolate and peanut butter! Seriously these two ingredients make everything better! This cookie recipe doesn’t use any flour and has an extra chocolatey flavor from the cocoa powder. They are also gluten-free, depending on what cocoa powder you use.

Not to mention you only need 5 ingredients, all of which are probably right in your pantry, and no mixer needed!

Love cookies like me? I have a TON of cookie recipes on Hello Spoonful, but here are some of my favs:

Peanut butter – creamy works the best! You can also swap for your favorite nut butter

Sugar – Coconut sugar is the best in my opinion! Plus much healthier than granulated sugar

Cocoa powder

Egg and Baking Soda

Chocolate Chips –  Lily’s is a great brand that offers gluten-free and non-GMO white, milk, and dark chocolate options.

Tips for Making

  • These cookies won’t flatten much! To make them flatter, press them before baking. You can also take them out of the oven when there are about 2 minutes left, smack the pan on the counter to get rid of the air bubbles.
  • Don’t overmix when you fold the chocolate chips in.
  • Use a silicone baking mat, this makes clean up a breeze and the cookies will never stick.
  • Let them sit for a few minutes after baking so they don’t fall apart.

Can You Make These Vegan?

You can definitely try substituting a flax egg, but we haven’t tested the recipe. So be sure to let me know how they turn out!

How To Store Flourless Cookies

You can store them in an airtight container or Ziploc once they have completely cooled. If you try to store them while they are still hot, the moisture builds up and makes them sort of soggy.
