My mom used to make deviled eggs anytime we had a big family dinner and especially during the holidays. I grew up in a family of 9, so the more cost-effective our meals could be, the better!

I always looked forward to her deviled eggs because often times she would pass the responsibility of making them off to me! She would have them cooked ahead of time, so all I had to do was mix the yolks, mayo and spices in a bowl and top with some paprika.

I loved having this responsibility and contributing to our family meals.

With the holidays coming up and it being football season, I figured why not create a fun deviled eggs recipe!?

I basically eat some form of eggs and avocado every single day, so it was only a matter of time before this recipe came to fruition.

My all time favorite pre-made guacamole is from Good Foods. Michael and I discovered the brand at Costco this time last year and it’s been our go-to ever since. I use it on GG Crackers, sandwiches, for dipping, to top my white chicken chili with it and the list goes on.

The texture + flavor of this guac is seriously perfect. I love that it’s got avocado chunks in it to make it feel homemade. I may or may not dig them out and steal all the best bites out of ours… sorry, Michael!

For this recipe you will need just a few ingredients, a sauce pan and maybe a pretty serving tray if you’re into that sort of thing!

Ingredients:

3 Eggs
1/4 + 1 Tbsp Cup Good Foods Guac
Chili Lime Seasoning
Salt + Pepper to taste!

Servings 6 Deviled Eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1/4 C + 1 Tbsp Good Foods Chunky Guacamole
  • Chili Lime Seasoning (Trader Joes)
  • Chili Flakes *Optional
  • S + P *To Taste

Instructions
 

  • Hard boil 3 eggs on the stove.
  • Place one egg yolk + guacamole into a bowl and mix. (Discard or save extra yolks for another recipe!)
  • Add seasonings as desired. Top with chili lime seasoning + crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
