Whole 30 Avocado Cream Sauce

In full transparency, I only developed this healthy vegan avocado cream sauce recipe as a condiment for my Whole30 Stuffed Peppers; however, it might be my favorite sauce ever!

This creamy vegan avocado sauce comes together in five minutes and is packed with fresh flavors like lime juice and oregano. I fully plan on adding it to just about everything I make.

This recipe is Whole30 approved which means it’s also gluten free and dairy free, so it fits into all lifestyles!

Is Avocado Cream Sauce Healthy?

Yes! The main ingredient in this sauce is avocado and avocados are packed with healthy fats, fiber, and contain less than one gram of sugar. Eating healthy fats keeps you satiated and slows the breakdown of carbohydrates, which helps to keep sugar levels in the blood stable.

I discuss this in great detail in my e-book, Redefining Wellness.

This recipe is also made with good-for-you ingredients like spices, vegan milk, and avocado oil.

What should you serve this Creamy Vegan Avocado Sauce with?

I love adding it to my Whole30 Stuffed Peppers, Healthy Shrimp Fajita Bowls, on top of turkey burgers, or using it as a dip with Chipotle Sweet Potato Fries or veggies.

You can also add more liquid to the sauce and use it as a whole30 avocado dressing on salad as well.

The options are truly endless! Feel free to get creative with this condiment.

What is Avocado Cream Sauce made of?

  • Avocado
  • Lime
  • Nut milk (I used almond milk)
  • Oregano
  • Garlic
  • Pepper
  • Avocado Oil
  • Salt

How to make Avocado Cream Sauce:

All you have to do is add the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth! I used my Nutri-ninja and it worked like a charm.

If you don’t have a blender or Nutri-ninja, you can simply mash all of your ingredients together with a fork or a potato masher in a bowl.

The consistency of this sauce is up to you. If you’d like to make it a litter thinner, simply add more dairy free milk or oil.

If you’re not a fan of almond milk, you can use any nut milk in its place.

You can also swap out the avocado oil for olive oil if you don’t have any on hand.

I recommend storing this sauce in your fridge for up to two days. You will need to cover it tightly with plastic wrap.
