For starters..
We started off our meal with the carrot turmeric tonic, pressed apple soda and later on a pumpkin lattini. The carrot turmeric tonic was out of this world! It tasted incredibly fresh and really woke me up!
If you’re a carrot lover like myself..you for sure want to order this drink to start!
(P.S. have you tried my healthy carrot cake recipe yet!?)

Next we moved onto sides.
I spotted the new roasted heirloom carrot appetizer, and since you already know my love for carrots, this was a must try! It was sitting on top of a greek yogurt and dill sauce that was unreal! My husband was very confused on how it was healthy because the sauce was so flavorful!
 { I always swap greek yogurt for mayo in my sauces because it adds protein and reduces unhealthy fats. I love to make a skinny french onion dip with with greek yogurt, healthy chicken salad or sub it for oil in my pumpkin muffins! }
We also got to try the new winter squash toast and lemme tell ya, this is gonna give the avocado toast trend a run for its money. Topped with carmelized onions, roasted brussels sprouts and lemon — oh myyyy (hear eyes everywhere)

After the sides, they brought out their new seasonal salad and I think I died and went to heaven.
Fall is my favorite season for many reasons, but especially the food! Root veggies, brussels and cinnamon everything is the way to my heart! The salad included brussels sprouts, butternut squash, cauliflower, white beans, pomegranates, toasted mulberry and a horseradish vinaigrette. Fall salads are THE best.
Highly recommend this dish as your entree with a little salmon on top!

Now, onto the pizzas.
We got to try the new butternut squash pizza, and if you follow me on instagram you already know how i feel about this dish! It was probably my favorite menu item — tied with the heirloom carrot appetizer & banana quinoa pancakes! This pizza is vegan, but you’d never know it because the ricotta cheese tastes just as incredible as regular ricotta. Healthy pizzas are always a win-win. I especially love making them with homemade cauliflower crust… YUM!
Their fall butternut squash pizza was topped with smoked onion, organic kale, vegan almond ricotta and dried cranberry. If you head to True Food Kitchen Atlanta… do yourself a favor and order this!

The second pizza was a brussels sprout and wild mushroom pizza. This was Michaels favorite dish. He finished it off for dinner that same day! It’s topped with brussels sprouts, wild mushrooms (lots, thankfully!), taleggio, garlic and lemon oil.
It’s a very light pizza which means you can totally save room for dessert… which we did!

For our sweets,
we got to taste the banana quinoa pancakes and the squash pie. I’d never tasted quinoa pancakes before and now i’m wishing I had a LONG time ago because they. are. incredible. I almost have no words for them because I know I couldn’t do them justice! The quinoa pancakes are topped with banana, greek yogurt and maple syrup.
They’re the perfect amount of sweetness and I love that extra protein kick from the quinoa! Have you ever made two-ingredient pancakes? They’re def not as good as these, but a great healthy, at-home option!

If you’re looking for a rich dessert that just screamssss fall — get the squash pie.
It’s creamy, delicious and on top a perfect graham crust with some coconut whipped cream. I was SO full at this point in our meal, yet I still ate about half of the pie — whoops!
