Tips for Making Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars
- Let the parchment paper hang over the edges of the baking pan so it’s easier to lift them out.
- You can use whatever protein powder you would like, the peanut butter chocolate just added more flavor.
- To keep these gluten free, be sure to use gluten free oats.
- Do not substitute quick cooking or steel cut oats for these bars. The texture does not come out the same.
- You can use your favorite variety of chocolate for the drizzle, including white chocolate chips.
- While the flavor will change, you can use any seed or nut butter.
- For chocolate lovers, if you would rather have a thick layer on top melt more chocolate, then spread it out over the entire pan of bars.

Are These Bars Vegan Friendly?
To make vegan chocolate peanut butter oatmeal bars, swap the honey for maple syrup and make sure you are using a plant-based protein powder such as Orgain.
