Vegan Gluten Free Waffles
These Vegan Gluten Free Waffles are the perfect start to your Saturday morning! Only whole ingredients and no oil needed! Top with your favorite toppings for an easy delicious breakfast!
I know some of you are super busy with your morning routine, so waffles may not be an option. But when Saturday rolls around, you are going to want to try these vegan gluten free waffles! They are a family favorite and kid-approved!
One of my favorite things about waffle recipes is that they are totally customizable so really you never have to make the same kind twice! Depending on what toppings you like, the waffle options are endless.
Many vegan waffle and pancake recipes call for bananas which some do not like. So I wanted you to have an option too! Even without the mashed banana, these babies are perfect and fluffy every time.

How to Make Waffles that are Vegan and Gluten Free
As always, preheat your waffle iron before you get started. You may need to prep it with cooking spray.
Combine your wet waffle ingredients into a small bowl and whisk. Then start adding in the gluten free oat flour, corn starch, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
To make sure your waffle iron is heated enough, splash a little water on it. It should sizzle, but if not know that it needs to heat up a little more before adding your batter.
Then pour in half of the waffle batter and close the waffle iron to cook. Once the steaming has stopped, your waffle is ready to eat!
Top with maple syrup and your other favorite toppings to enjoy!

Can You Freeze Gluten Free Waffles for Later?
Yes! Once you finish cooking them, let them cool. Add them to a freezer-friendly container or Ziploc bag, separated by parchment paper. To reheat, simply toss them in the toaster and ta-da! This is a great option for families and for busy mornings.

- 1 ½ cup packed gf oat flour
- 4 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt

- Add milk, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla to a bowl and whisk to combine. Add in the oat flour, cinnamon, corn starch, baking powder and salt and stir until just combined.

Lift the top up and remove from the waffle iron and repeat.
